JJC at Barn party with Special Guest Rob Siegers

Juke Joint Cowboys joined in the Slideways reunion at Bob Merritt’s barn. Despite a brief microburst that almost took us from Kansas, a great time was had by all. JJC did a rousing set with banjo player extraordinaire Rob Siegers sitting in. This was Paul Sanna’s first time out with us and we are sure that we’ve found the right fit! Slideways was great and there were a TON of talented musicians who joined together for a great afternoon of music and fun. Alreay looking forward to next year!

Dear Musicians,
Thank you for your patience while I get organized! I started a new job this month (still working for the library, though) and it’s been a huge distraction from the really important stuff in life like MUSIC. Looks like things are getting back to controlled chaos, however, and we now have a schedule for 2012.
Library Jams 2012 at the Vestal Public Library, 11am to 2pm, in the Lecture Room

John V. is looking into booking Summer Library Jams at the Binghamton (Broome County Public) Library, since they are open on Saturdays during the summers while Vestal is closed. When we have confirmed them, those will be added to the schedule.
Question: we could book the library room in Vestal for a jam in November and December as well, on the last Saturdays of those months. Let’s take a vote: please let me know if you think that’s a good idea.
There is an open acoustic jam session every Tuesday night (except the first Tuesday of the month, which is an Open Mic opportunity) at the Cyber Cafe West on Main Street in Binghamton.

Juke Joint Cowboys will be playing at Dunn Field 546 Luce Street Elmira, NY 14901 on Friday July 9th at 9:30. We’re on immediately after the Pioneers game ends. This has the potential to be a real kick! C’mon by for a ballgame and some chipkickin fun!
Owego Strawberry Festival – June 19th
